Nominating Committee

Nominating Committee is tasked with prayerfully considering which members of the church are a good fit to serve on Session as ordained and installed Elders as well as members to serve on the Nominating Committee. Great intention, prayer, and confidence are given to the matter. Each member is contacted about the position and examined by session for the service. When there is an unexpired term left open, the committee is tasked with filling the position. The session is the governing board of the church in the PCUSA and is tasked with making important decisions for the church body and building. Each new potential elder is voted on by the congregation at called meeting of the church.
