Matthew 25

Matthew 25:31–46 calls all of us to actively engage in the world around us, so our faith comes alive and we wake up to new possibilities.

The General Assembly of the PC(USA) challenges all of its congregations to embrace Jesus' call in Mathew by focusing on three key areas:

  • Building Congregational Vitality - our spiritual strength and capacity for purposeful mission
  • Dismantling Structural Racism -  understanding that Racism is anti-Christian, our own roles in perpetuating structural racism and how we address it in our own communities
  • Eradicating Systemic Poverty - recognizing that there are system and cultural influences that all but guarantee that people living in poverty will stay that way and discovering ways we can advocate for change

Change is hard.  Change is slow.  Change is transforming.  We invite you to follow our journey as we embark on a year long biblical study of Matthew.
